Going to the movies?  Try these instead of Popcorn and other treats and you will ensure you are on track with your TLC-Program.

These yummy cinnamon apple chips are healthy and perfect as a treat.  They are easy to make and take with you.  Make them the day before and store in an airtight container/ziplock bag.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Apple (allowance)
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • TLC-Stevia Powder to taste

Method:

Prehead the oven to 110 °C.

Arrange the apples on a baking sheet – metal is best.

Mix together the stevia and cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples.

Bake until the apples dry and curl on the edges (takes about an hour but check after 45 minutes).
Transfer to a wire wrack to cool.

Note: apples will not be crispy until they cool.
Tip: use a mandolin to cut the slices ultra thin.
