You would be surprised how easy it is to whip up a delicious, healthy crumbed chicken dish.

Give this one a try and then add a side dish of your choice from the ‘TLC-Side Dishes and More Recipe Book’ in the TLC Online Store:


Chicken breast (allowance)
1 teaspoon dried Oregano
2 Provita Biscuits (crushed into fine crumbs)
2 Tablespoons Vegetable stock and 4 Tablespoons Water
1⁄4 teaspoon Garlic powder
1⁄4 teaspoon Onion powder
1⁄4 teaspoon Cumin powder
Salt and pepper to taste


Combine the Provita crumbs and dried Oregano.  Place on a plate.
Add the spices to the Veg stock and water and mix in a bowl.

Dip chicken breast in the liquid mixture to coat.
Coat with the crumb mixture.
Layer in baking dish and add remaining stock to the bottom of the dish.
Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes until brown and crunchy on top.  Try not to over bake.
You can add extra water if necessary to keep the chicken from getting too dry.

Remove from the oven, slice and serve with a squeeze of lemon and side dish of your choice.
