Hi ladies

since my last post, a little bit disapointing but the scale went up...600grms BUT 11cm down all around.
Im trying my hardest not to let this get me down, and just keep on going, but ofcourse being human and a woman this is proving
rather difficult for me. Anyway...
new week, new start i guess...another chance to get this right.

anyone have anything motivational to pick a girl up?  Smiley

My advice Tasha, regarding eating, dont eat the same things over & over, because you will, if your not already, get bored & look for other yummy stuff to nibble - try & be as creative with your meals as you can, i just google things to make & adapt it to the TLC way of eating & use substitue ingredients, if you stick to ''salad & chicken, chicken & veg'' everyday you are going to go insane! dont let your slow weight loss slow you down, just keep pushing through it! you'll get there  Grin

Hi Ladies,

I am new here, have been on the diet for 9 weeks now, and went from loosing 2kg's only the first week, to 0.4kg's this week. Feeling very down, because I have been trying really hard to eat well. Today I picked up 0.1kg's and am worried that next week I will have another low week.

I am concerned that maybe I am doing something wrong!  ???I have lost a total of 7.1kg's and still have about 10kg's to go! Just need some motivation and advise too.

After reading all the other posts I have decided to start trying some more meal options because I usually stick to the same old food because it is easier to manage.

Just also happy to find a support group!

Hi Everyone

This is not my first time at the rodeo - so to speak - this is my 2nd time doing the TLC programme (1st time I didnt complete to phase 3 - BIG mistake), almost 2 years & 17kgs later, here I am, giving this another go because I know IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT!

I have 12kgs to go till my goal weight and I know its not a large amount like 20 or 30kgs or more, but its still very hard for me to fight the fight everyday...i started on January 6th, did well....then went crazy for the mnth of Feb (had alot goin on) and now im finding it very hard to get back on track, i know the motivating fighting spirit is in there somewhere...i just cant seem to find it.
Anyway, my first weigh in tomorrow after 3 weeks, my scale at home says ive gained 2kgs...we shall see what tomorrow holds.
I'll get back there, ive got till July - but im giving myself till the end of May to reach my goal weight. no pressure...eeeeeek

My advice to you all, as a second timer, take it day by day, dont think of how far you still have to go or long its still going to take, because that will just put you right off, just take it day by day & meal by meal...as you successfully get through each meal without cheating you will feel better and better about yourself & how well your doing & you WILL FEEL PROUD OF YOURSELF - and when you weigh in, the reward will be there in those little black numbers on the scale screen, and on on on on you go!  Grin

We can do this ladies!!!!!!!!

Tips for staying on your TLC-Program!
1.  Put a picture of yourself on your fridge (helps to use a picture that you really don't like!).  Each time you go to the fridge to cheat you will see the picture and it will motivate you to "make the change"!
2. Make sure you keep your water with you - when you feel hungry or want to cheat drink your water!
3.  When you get an urge to cheat, distract yourself! Find something to do that will keep your mind off wanting to cheat - the urge to cheat shouldn't last very long!
4.  Make sure you keep a food diary - this holds you accountable and you can pin-point at what time of the day you get the urge to cheat - it could be that you are bored during that specific time!
5. Contact your TLC-Coach if you still feel like cheating!
6. Don't give up and don't give in!
